Replanted Foster Care Conference

On Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, Edgar Community Church is hosting a simulcast foster care conference called "Replanted." This free simulcast conference gives local foster families a chance to be encouraged, educated, and assisted in their continual licensure as foster families. Free babysitting and meals are included in the conference.

VOLUNTEERS

Here's how you can help at the Replanted Foster Care Conference...

#1 Since free babysitting and meals are included in the conference, we're looking for some volunteers who are willing to help babysit some kids and prep meals. If you're interested, you can sign up on the clipboard at church.

#2 Also, we'd like to surprise the foster care families with a "No Way!" gift basket to take home. We have 6 different baskets that we'll be collecting small items for…

1. Movie Night

2. Family Game Night

3. Art Fun

4. Outdoor Fun

5. Baking Fun

6. Reading Fun.

You're welcome to bring any items in that you think would fit in the baskets. For example, the Movie Night basket could contain family friendly movies or popcorn. The Family Game Night could include snacks and card games. The Art Fun basket could include coloring books and stickers. The Outdoor Fun basket could include a frisbee and jump rope. The Baking Fun basket could include recipes and baking ingredients. The Reading Fun basket could include books and bookmarks. Gift basket items will be collected through Sunday, October 19.
