Baptisms

On Sunday, April 26, we will have baptisms during our regular worship service. Baptisms can look different depending on your faith tradition and background. Here at Edgar Community Church, we strive to follow the example of baptism we see in the Bible, which is baptism of believers by immersion. Baptism is an external sign of what's happened internally -- someone making the decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Anyone, regardless of age, is welcome to get baptized if they have not done so since becoming a follower of Jesus. There is no class or prerequisite to baptism besides making the personal decision to love and follow Jesus.

People interested in getting baptized are encouraged to email rachel@edgarcommunitychurch.com, so we have a rough idea of how many towels we should have on hand.
